Odin III wins for me. It sounds better and it's also easier to work with. And most importantly - I don't need Kontakt (I hate that thing). This is a major advantage for me.

If you are into djent, then Odin 3 can probably get you most the way there, as a rhythm guitar for sure. In many cases you will have to spend quite a bit of time figuring out Adsr of shreddage guitars, specifically the mutes, which sound fantastic in Odin 3. But, that’s as far as it’s gets for me - it sucks as a lead guitar or pretty much for any genre other than djent with its lack of adjustable options and very mediocre engine.

@@joly3771 That's true, Odin 3's mutes sound solid, but is a shame that it doesn't have those customizable features like the Shreddage 3 guitars.

@@joly3771 Hi Joly3771, Which adjustable options are you looking for? We've posted Odin 3 performing the Sound of Truth solo by As I Lay Dying, as well as the To The Hellfire solo by Lorna Shore. Both utilizing things like sweep picking, hammer-ons, pull-offs, gentler picking, harder picking, vibrato, pinch harmonics, bends.. I'd love to know what else we can add (or show off in tutorials) for you to enjoy Odin 3's lead capabilities :)

Hellrizer is awesome, but this is something you have to try. I've been working with VST instruments for over a decade, and this one made me incredibly happy.

@@developdevicestudio You have a very interesting sound on your track. I was originally judging from the Lorna Shore (Solemnt Tones) track. I think it depends more on the arrangement and the development of the track. Hellrizer - of course very cool library, only recently I noticed that there are 9 strings, strange for such a guitar string)). Any thoughts on Axe Machina ? I think it's still a raw product so far. Very much waiting for new ideas from Imact Soundworks. They are the fathers of this)))

@@developdevicestudio I advise you to find or listen somewhere Achromic (kontakt Library) very live sound. A little known library, which is very strange. But it sounds very cool

Hi Roberto, thank you for your feedback. However, you didn’t mention how you like the final sound, which I believe is the most important aspect. Each IR is tailored to the specific amp settings, allowing me to achieve the desired tone without using pre or post EQ. All these parameters are stored within the IR itself. I understand that seeing many individual settings might give you a pleasant placebo effect. However, I prefer to focus on what really matters - the sound.
